Brandon founded Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care in 1995, establishing the company just prior to his entry into George Mason University (GMU). He successfully operated the business throughout his full-time academic career at GMU, where he earned a B.S. in Business Management and was a member of the Patriots' wrestling team. Brandon is currently furthering his executive education as a 2027 MBA Candidate at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He previously earned the prestigious Landscape Industry Certified Manager certification, granted by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). Outside of his professional life, Brandon remains committed to the sport of wrestling through coaching and enjoys most outdoor activities. He resides in Clifton, VA, with his wife, Melissa, their four children, and their family dogs, Charlie & Finn.

While relatively new to the lawn and garden profession, Hugh’s extensive career as a sales professional has cultivated a strong foundation of skills essential for exceptional client service, including sharp attention to detail, proactive communication, and a commitment to achieving client objectives. These proven habits ensure that he not only meets client needs but also continues the standard of success that Brandon Rushing Lawn and Garden clients expect. Hugh currently lives in Alexandria with his wife and three children.

David grew up in an Air Force family, which gave him the opportunity to live in places like Panama, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Colorado before settling in the DC area in 2013. After graduating from high school in Hawaii, he studied Business Management at Elon University in North Carolina. David built his operations experience across a variety of industries, including Major League Baseball with the Washington Nationals and in audio-video event production. He enjoys managing moving parts, solving puzzles, and—most of all—building relationships with his team to help them succeed. He believes in leadership over management and works to foster a culture of service, excellence, and accountability every day. Outside of work, David enjoys baseball (Go Braves!), skiing and snowboarding, spending time at the beach, and exploring the outdoors.
